Director Directions:
- Take attendance
- Whos here?
- How to replace missing positions
- Check IFB’s. Who can hear me. Who cant? Why?
- Turning on cameras (I know we said this was a job for TD but I think its important the director does it too)
- Tape (more so for original productions, but I think its important)
- Turn on
- Bars and tone
- Speed
- Preview camera x, take x, preview y, take y
- Bring in ots/FB1, take out FB1
- Bring in video
- Counting back
- Go to black, cue VTR F, bring up audio.
- Talking to cameras and producers to move. Camera 1 to weather, Camera 2 to weather desk.
- Taking out slug x. Ready the next shot. 2 shot on 1.
- VTR B – birds eye camera.
