Graphics & Teleprompter

1. Open “Lyric 8.0” on Desktop
2. Make sure correct profile is loaded. If not goto Config -> Load User Profile (Profiles in I:/User Profiles    Folder)
3. Right Numpad enters msg numbers
4. Right enter loads msgs “Read”
5. “Ctrl + Play” key to play on air
6. “Play” key to play on your screen (for previewing)
7. Click “Effect Out” on playout tab (on screen) to take graphic off
8. If you play another graphic in the same frame buffer, it’ll auto effect out the other one (back to back OTS’s)
9. If you need to take off something else after you loaded something else, click the msg that’s red in the playout tab, then effect out.
10. Explain FB1, FB2 (currently we only use one FB in news). Two seperate canvases and outputs.
11. Credits: Open playlist on desktop, click play.
12. Check graphics before show under direction of TD, let producer know of any errors.

Teleprompter:

1. Open EZ News
2. Find tonight’s rundown
3. Click whatever story you want to start on (usually A-1)
4. (Make sure no stories are open for editing. If so, close them.)
5. Prompt -> Prompt Show
6. Left Mouse Button: Go/Stop
7. Scroll Wheel: Adjust speed
8. Right mouse button: Hold to reverse (left click to start/stop still)
9. Esc Key to close
