The Oswego St. Lakers Men’s Hockey team skated past the Canton Kangaroos with ease Friday night, with 7 different goal scorers leading the way. Oswego started strong, taking a 2-0 lead into the first intermission. Sean Federow and Stephen Johnson, two defensemen, tallied the markers.

In the second Canton managed to bring the game within 1, as Nick Vasilopoulos went hard to the net and buried a pass from George Curry. After that it was all Lakers, with Mitch Herlihey, Matt Galati, and Mike Montagna all registering goals.

In the third the Lakers continued to pour it on, as Johnson and Galati put of the second goals of their nights. Morgan Bonner and Kenny Neil put up the last markers within a minute of each other to finally chase Canton goaltender Spencer Landry. Justin Gilbert made 15 saves in the win for Oswego.

Oswego is back in action tomorrow night as they take on Nazareth in a 7 p.m. contest. Hockey Night in Oswego Pregame starts on WTOP at 6:30 pm.
