Men’s Basketball moves on to the Semifinals

OSWEGO, NY — Men’s Basketball battled Cortland Tuesday night in the first round of the SUNYAC Championship. The 74-67 final featured a Laker comeback in the second half as the team outscored the Red Dragons 44-30 to secure the win. Junior Liam Sanborn had a large part in the comeback as the guard put up 26 points in his 38 minutes play to lead the Lakers. Senior Joe Sullivan secured six field goals in his 38 minutes played as well. This win eliminates the Cortland Red Dragons who were the fifth seed in the playoffs.

Oswego now looks ahead to the Semi-Final round in which the team will have to travel to Brockport to face off against the number one team. The nationally ranked Golden Eagles are scheduled to battle the Lakers at 7:30 p.m. upon the finish of the other game between Oneonta and Potsdam. The winners will play each other at 4 p.m. on Saturday in Brockport.

Oswego Buccaneers season ends in first round of Sectionals

CORTLAND, NY — Oswego High School Hockey went on the road last Thursday for the first round of Sectionals for Division II. The Buccaneers were the fifth seed and traveled to Cortland to face off against the fourth seed, Cortland-Homer. The Golden Eagles would take the 8-2 and move on into the semi final round. Oswego’s two goals would come from Brayden Miller and Adam Michalski along with Carson Colucci tallying an assist. Brandon Demling would make 26 saves even though the goaltender would give up eight goals in the contest. The Bucs would be outshoot by the Golden Eagles 34 to 32 as the Cortland-Homer netminder would make 30 saves.

This ends Oswego’s season as the group finished 11-10 overall. The Buccaneers are graduating a total of nine players this year, four defenseman and five forwards. All three goaltenders will stay with the team which is good news moving forward for the group. Cortland-Homer will move on to face Skaneateles as the Golden Eagles will travel there on Wednesday for the second semi final game for Division II.

Oswego Hockey improves to four game winning streak

OSWEGO, NY — Men’s Hockey secured another victory on Saturday as the Lakers defeated the Fredonia Blue Devils 4-1. Carter Allen scored the first and only goal in the first period. The Blue Devils would answer in the 2nd period but it would be all Oswego in the third period as captain Josh Zizek scored two goals. Senior David Richer was back in between the pipes for the Lakers and he recorded the win. This victory puts Oswego on a four game win streak.

This was the last regular season game for the Lakers as the team head into the SUNYAC playoffs. The group will host an opponent that will be decided Wednesday night. The game is set to begin at 7 p.m. in the Marano Campus Center.

Men’s Basketball falls in overtime to Brockport

OSWEGO, NY — Men’s Basketball wrapped up their regular season this past Saturday as Brockport traveled into the Max Ziel Gymnasium. Number 25 Brockport would take this one 85-80 as the teams need extra time to decide a winner. The Golden Eagles would score 11 points in overtime to secure the victory. Liam Sanborn led the Lakers on Senior Day as he tallied 23 points in his 44 minutes played. Joe Sullivan tallied 16 points as he made 5 field goals and 5 free throws.

The Lakers will now start preparing for their first round playoff game in the SUNYAC Championship against Cortland. The Red Dragons and the Lakers split games this season as each team won against each other in their own gyms. Oswego is the four seed in the tournament and will be the home team in the match up. The game will be held at 7 p.m. in the Max Ziel Gym.

Women’s Basketball Season comes to an end against Brockport

OSWEGO, NY — Women’s Basketball played their final game of the season this past Saturday as the Lakers faced off against Brockport. The SUNYAC match up featured the Golden Eagles taking the victory 81-73. The two teams would only be separated by three points heading into the second quarter, but Brockport would start to pull away as the second half approached. Quincey Zimmerman was one of four Lakers to put up double digits in the points column as she led the team with 21 points scored. This loss puts the Lakers at 6-18 and only 2-16 in conference play. The team failed to make the SUNYAC playoffs as the group finished on a 14 game losing streak.

Men’s Basketball defeats Geneseo

OSWEGO, NY — Men’s Basketball secured the victory over Geneseo 64-42 Friday night. The Lakers got their 12th conference win of the season as Oswego was only up seven points heading into the second half. The Lakers would extend their lead in the next half as the group tallied 37 points. Jeremiah Sparks would net 15 points in his 32 minutes played as the freshman made five field goals and one three pointer. Brandon Gartland would also net 13 points as the senior dropped three three pointers.

Oswego remains in fourth place in the SUNYAC standings with only one game remaining. The Lakers have a chance to move into third but Oswego cannot fall as Cortland is already locked into the fifth seed. Brockport, currently locked into the number one spot, travels into the Marano Campus Center Saturday for the last game of the regular season. Todays game is also Senior Day as tip off is set for 4 p.m. in the Max Ziel Gym.

Oswego Men’s Hockey continues win streak against Buffalo State

OSWEGO, NY — Men’s Hockey hosted Buffalo State Friday night in the Marano Campus Center to kick off the final weekend of the regular season. The Lakers would come away with the victory over the Bengals with a score line of 3-2. Oswego would get the lone goal of the first two periods as senior Jody Sullivan tallied a goal around the 12 minute mark of the first period. Joseph Molinaro and Mac Lewis secured assists on the first Laker goal. Oswego would get back on the scoreboard at the start of the third period as sophomore Travis Broughman would score on a wrap around just one minute in. Alex DiCarlo would eventually get the game winning goal around halfway through the period as the freshman ripped one past the Bengals netminder. However, Buffalo State would tally two goals by the end of the game to make it a thriller in the final minutes inside the Marano Campus Center.

The Lakers now look ahead to Fredonia who is coming off a win last night in Cortland. The Devils are in a must win situation as the team looks to stay alive and make it into the SUNYAC tournament. For the Lakers, the team can extend their current three game winning streak to four and maintain momentum into the playoffs. Senior Night also adds some special feelings to the 13 seniors playing in their final regular season game tonight. The Lakers and Devils are set to faceoff at 7 p.m. but WTOP 10 will begin coverage at 6:30 p.m. before puck drop.

Women’s Basketball falls to Geneseo in SUNYAC match up

OSWEGO, NY — Women’s Basketball played another conference opponent Friday afternoon as Geneseo traveled into the Max Ziel Gymnasium. The 68-37 loss extends the Lakers losing streak to 13 games. The two teams were neck and neck coming out of the 1st quarter as Geneseo was up 13-12. However, the Knights would net 22 points the next quarter compared to Oswego’s ten as Geneseo took a commanding lead. Graduate student Erin Gantley lead the Lakers with 18 points for a career collegiate high. Oswego wouldn’t be able to bounce back as the Lakers only tallied a total of 15 points between the final two quarters compared to 33 from Geneseo. The Lakers round out the season today with a game against Brockport. The 2 p.m. tip off is set to be a good one as the Lakers beat Brockport back on December 6th, 69-62.

Oswego State Hockey Weekend Preview

OSWEGO, NY — Men’s Hockey returns home this weekend for a pair of SUNYAC match ups in the last regular season weekend of the 2019-2020 campaign. The Lakers are coming off a successful weekend in Morrisville as the team secured two shutouts and the second seed in the SUNYAC playoffs. The 4-0 and 7-0 wins allowed Oswego to clinch the second seed behind Geneseo. This gave Oswego a bye into the semi-final round of playoffs along with a home game. This also allows the Lakers to finish off the season stress free as these next two match ups are just confidence boosters heading into post season. These two match ups against the two teams from the Buffalo area are however important for these away teams.

Friday night, Buffalo State will travel into the Marano Campus Center as the current fourth seed in the standings. But the Bengals have only clinched a berth to the playoffs and not secured their position in the top six. With Brockport only facing Geneseo this weekend, Buffalo State could pass the Golden Eagles with two wins over Oswego and then Cortland Saturday evening. Buffalo State would have the tiebreaker if the Bengals could only secure one win this weekend, or Brockport does upset Geneseo. For Oswego, a win over Buffalo State would allow the Lakers to sweep the Bengals along with make Buffalo State’s chances of coming back to Oswego for a semi final game even tougher. Steven Kozikoski will most likely start Friday night to stay fresh for playoffs. Kozikoski has started and completed the last 6 of 7 games for the Lakers as the sophomore currently holds a 1.81 goals against average along with a .927 save percentage, the best between all three netminders. This puck drop is set for 7 p.m. but WTOP 10 has you covered with coverage beginning at 6:30.

Saturday Night, the Lakers will face off against Fredonia who’s currently is in last in the SUNYAC standings. Although the team has a 3-8-3 conference record, the Devils still have a chance of making the playoffs with two games this weekend. With a current three way tie for the last spot, Fredonia only sits one point out with a game against Cortland Friday, the current sixth seed. Due to Saturday’s game being Senior Night, expect seniors David Richer and Cedric Hansen split time in net for the Lakers. Richer did start Saturday night’s in Morrisville and secured his 9th collegiate shutout after not playing since January 24th against Cortland, when the Lakers lost in overtime. This game will also have a 7 p.m. puck drop with coverage starting at 6:30 p.m. on WTOP 10. The Senior Night Ceremony will begin directly after the completion of the game.

Oswego High School Hockey Season Recap and Sectionals Preview

CORTLAND, NY — Oswego Buccaneers Hockey has been preparing this past week as the team gets set to head on the road to Cortland-Homer for the first round of Sectionals. The Division II Section III 2020 Sectional Tournament begins this Thursday as the Oswego Cortland-Homer match up is the first of two quarterfinal games being played. New Hartford is set to travel to Clinton Arena to face Clinton Friday evening for the second game. All four of these teams have a tough road ahead however, as the lowest remaining seed will go on to face Skaneateles, the current number one team in the entire state. The highest remaining seed will head to play the 15-3-1 Whitesboro Warriors who finished the season with a 9-1-1 division record.

The Buccaneers season has been up and down as the group finished only 4-8 in division but had an overall record of 11-9. The team began back in November with two games against Section V opponents that ended with two wins over Notre Dame and Churchville-Chili. The Bucs would head into division play in December as the team would drop two games to New Hartford and Clinton before heading to Albany in which the group won two games against Section II opponents. The rest of December would be back and forth before the team went on a five game win streak to start the new calendar year. This streak began against Spencerport who is based out of Section V. At the time, the Rangers were ranked 13th in the state in which the team has now moved up to 8th. With this win streak, Oswego would end up being ranked as high as 13th statewide over the course of the season. This streak however would end quickly after losing 6-0 to Skaneateles and would continue into a three game losing streak that occurred against divisional opponents. The Buccaneers would get one win going into February against Auburn but would drop their final two regular season games, one being against their upcoming opponent Cortland-Homer.

Cortland-Homer finished 5-7 in division this season as the Golden Eagles scored a total of 42 goals against division opponents, second just behind Skaneateles who finished with 58. In comparison to Oswego, the Bucs only scored 26 points in their division games which is the second lowest out of the seven teams. In their two games against each other, each team got a win as Oswego defeated the Golden Eagles 4-3 during their 5 game win streak. However, on February 4th, the Bucs would fall to Cortland-Homer 6-1 at home.

Most of this season’s success have come from new upper class who have stepped up and taken larger roles on the team. Junior Ryan Bartlett has recorded 24 points (8 goals and 16 assists) in only his 12 games played. Bartlett has not played since Oswego’s game against New Hartford on January 13th. The junior has doubled his points totals compared to last season even though he has missed a good amount of the season. If the Buccaneers could add him back into the line up for Thursday nights game, Oswego’s chances of moving on in sectionals will definitely increase. Oswego also leans on their junior goaltender Brandon Demling who last year only got a total of 39 minutes in between the pipes. With a total of 359 saves and a goals against average of a 3.07, the junior has stepped into the starting position and has allowed the Bucs to win some close games. Demling has played both games against Cortland-Homer this season and you can expect him in net tomorrow evening in Cortland. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m. from the J.M. McDonald Sports Complex in Cortland.

Men’s Basketball falls to Potsdam on Saturday

OSWEGO, NY — After beating Plattsburgh Friday night, Men’s Basketball battled Potsdam Saturday evening and lost 76-62 for their fifth conference loss of the season. After going into the second half tied at 33 apiece, the Lakers couldn’t hold the Bears as Potsdam put up 43 points compared to only Oswego’s 29. Brandan Gartland led the team with 18 points in his 38 minutes played. The 16-6 Lakers are currently fourth in the SUNYAC standings and have clinched a playoff berth. Oswego still can move up the rankings with three SUNYAC games remaining. The Lakers head to Oneonta Tuesday night for another conference match up.

Women’s Hockey defeats Buffalo State on Senior Day

OSWEGO, NY — Women’s Hockey played their final home game of the regular season this past Saturday as the Lakers took home the 3-2 victory of Buffalo State. The win came off of goals in all three periods as Morgan Shines tied the game at 1-1 towards the end of the first period. Eryn Stewart would secure a goal in the second period to put the Lakers ahead. Emily Gustafson would net one in the third to give Oswego the two goal lead before the Bengals got on the board with a little over eight minutes remaining. Rachael Farmer would make 18 saves in the victory to give the Lakers their 14th win of the season. Oswego travels to Canton for their final game of the season where if the Lakers are victorious, the team will secure second place in the standings, and host Morrisville in the semifinals in the NEWHL playoffs. Puck drop is in Canton at 4 p.m. on Saturday.

Women’s Basketball Weekend Recap

OSWEGO, NY — Women’s Basketball had two home games this weekend, both against SUNYAC opponents. Friday night featured a Senior Day game against Plattsburgh in which the Lakers honored five seniors but fell short by one point to the Cardinals. The 56-55 lose featured Syndi Eure netting 20 points in her 37 minutes played. The senior would also have another huge performance the following day against Potsdam as she would secure 30 points in the Laker lose. The 87-75 lose was Oswego’s 15th of the season as the team is still last in the SUNYAC standings. The team will head to Oneonta on Tuesday for a 5:30 p.m. tip off.

Oswego High School Hockey gets set for final regular season game of the year

OSWEGO, NY — Oswego High School Hockey has been preparing for their final regular season game of the year this past week as the Buccaneers welcome in Skaneateles this Wednesday. The Bucs sit at 11-8 overall but only 4-7 in division play which puts them in fifth place in the Division II standings for Section III. Oswego is currently on a four game losing streak which has all been against division opponents. There most recent game was a 6-1 loss against Cortland-Homer who has only two more points then the Bucs in the division standings. Oswego could tie that total with a win in their final game but are going up some tough competition.

Skaneateles currently sits with a 9-0-1 division record with their one tie that occurred against Auburn back on December 17th. Skaneateles is ranked number one in the state for Division II as the group is 16-0-1 and are heavy favorites for the Section III title. Oswego would have to outscore the group which has only allowed eight goals against all season. Junior goalie Brandon Demling has been stellular in net for the Bucs as the goaltender has kept the team in games throughout the season. Demling holds a .881 save percentage and a 2.83 goals against average in his 17 games played. Demling has also recorded one shutout this season which came against Fulton back in December. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m. Wednesday night from the Crisafulli Rink at Fort Ontario.

Oswego Men’s Hockey falls to Geneseo in SUNYAC game

OSWEGO, NY — Men’s Hockey played their postponed game Sunday night that was supposed to be a Friday night match up against Geneseo. The Knights would win 5-3 after they were the only team to get on the board in the first period. Junior Carson Vance would be the only Laker to tally a goal in the second period as he capitalized on the power play. Geneseo would take a 3-1 in the third period before Max Novick tallied one off a pass from Alex DiCarlo as the freshman extended his points streak. Michael Gillespie would tie the game just 1:14 minutes later after a shot that went off the boards behind the Geneseo goalie. Geneseo would get the game winner with less than two minutes remaining and an empty net goal to secure their 17th win of the season and extend their barrier between Oswego for first place in the SUNYAC conference.

The Lakers travel to Morrisville next weekend for a must needed four points to make sure the team stays in the second seed heading into playoffs. Buffalo State will be the last test for Oswego before heading into conference playoffs.

Women’s Hockey gets it done against Nazareth

OSWEGO, NY — Oswego Women’s Hockey won their match up against Nazareth Sunday afternoon 3-2. The Lakers went down early in the first period as the Golden Flyers got one past senior Racheal Farmer to put them in the lead. Oswego would not answer till the second period as freshman Megan Teachout tallied one on the powerplay. Kyliegh Grugin would add another just 1:33 minutes later on a pass from Morgan Shines. Avery Webster would eventually get the game winner as both teams netted in the final stanza.

This is Oswego’s 12th win of the season as the Lakers head to Buffalo State next weekend for a NEWHL match up. The Friday night puck drop will be at 4 p.m. as the Lakers look to remain in second place behind Plattsburgh in the conference standings.

Oswego Men’s Hockey gets set for game against Geneseo

OSWEGO, NY — Men’s Hockey returns home after a successful trip to the North Country last weekend. The Laker’s wins over Potsdam and Plattsburgh secures the team in second place in the SUNYAC standings behind Geneseo, their competition Friday night. The Knights are currently ranked in third in the nation as the team holds a 15-3-2 record. Geneseo is coming off two wins in central New York as the team defeated Morrisville 6-0 and 8-3. However, Geneseo is only two points ahead of Oswego in the standings as the Lakers have played on less conference game than the Knights. This battle Friday is set to decide who will take the first seed heading into the playoffs. With Oswego not being ranked nationally, the Lakers only chance to make the NCAA tournament this season is through the conference’s automatic bid, in which the team must go through Geneseo to do so.

The last time these two teams met was back in November when the Lakers traveled to Geneseo for a Saturday night faceoff. However, the 1-9 loss was a major setback to the season as the team would go on a three game losing streak all against nationally ranked teams. But Oswego currently is on a three game win streak that has been on the back of new starting goalie Steven Kozikoski.

Friday Night’s game will be the first game of the second semester as students are back on campus. You can expect a packed Marano Campus Center as Oswego hasn’t beaten the Knights since the 2017-18 season. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m. and coverage can be found on WTOP 10 and WNYO.

Women’s Hockey secures 10th win of the season against Morrisville

OSWEGO, NY — Women’s Hockey defeated Morrisville Wednesday night 4-2 after a third period comeback from the Lakers. Kate Randazzo would get on the board first as Sara Cruise got the assist. This would push Oswego into the lead heading into the second period before the Mustangs netted two back to back goals within 30 seconds of each other. Morrisville would keep the lead into the third period until freshman Megan Teachout got on the board on a delayed penalty. That same powerplay, the Lakers would take the lead thanks to Amber Thomas and then Eryn Stewart would add one minutes later to secure the victory. Senior Rachael Farmer was solid in net as she saved 16 shots and recorded a .889 save percentage. This is the Lakers 10th win of the season as this pushes them above the other conference teams as they still hold the second seed. Oswego heads on the road Saturday to Utica for a 2 p.m. match up.

Women’s Hockey Preview versus Morrisville

OSWEGO, NY — The 9-6-4 Women’s Hockey team is back in action Wednesday night as Morrisville travels back into the Marano Campus Center for a NEWHL match up. The Mustangs last traveled into Oswego last Friday which gave the Lakers their second lost in as many games. The 0-2 setback was only the third time the Laker offense has been shutout all season. This is shocking as the team’s offense has producing more than last season. The group is averaging more goals per game along with more shot opportunities per game.

This increase comes in part from the success of their first line, Megan Teachout, Eryn Stewart, and Amber Thomas. The freshman, senior, and transfer have combined for 58 points out of a team total of 141. The three forwards all are a top the points chart with Teachout leading in goals and Stewart leading in assists.

The increased offense may be the only season improvement though as the Lakers have allowed more goals per game this season than last year. The 2.4 goals per game compared to the 2018-19 season total of 2.2 goals is odd due to the fact that Oswego’s defensive core along with starting goaltender has mostly stayed the same between the seasons. Senior Rachael Farmer has already played more games than last season as she is now the only goaltender on the team roster. The goalie’s goals against average has increased from 1.84 to 2.35 along with her save percentage decreasing from a .942 to a .910.

The Lakers still hold the second spot in the NEWHL standings right behind Plattsburgh who has clinched the division for the third straight year. Currently, Oswego is on pace to finish in their highest seeding since joining the league as the team has never been the second seed before. But Oswego is currently in a four way battle for that second spot as Potsdam, Morrisville, and Cortland all are within two points of each other. Due to this, tonight’s match up is important in the fact that without a win, the Lakers could fall outside the top four, and miss the playoffs for the first time in nine years. This game is also the last time Oswego would see these three teams in the regular season, as Oswego only has Buffalo State left to play in conference play. Men’s Basketball secures 15th win of the season against New Paltz

OSWEGO, NY — Men’s Basketball rolled through the New Paltz Hawks Tuesday night as the Lakers won 80-55. Oswego took a commanding lead in the first half as the team scored 54 points compared to the Hawk’s 25. This is thanks to senior Joe Sullivan dropping 20 points due to seven field goals and two three pointers in his twenty two minutes played. Colby Moultrie stepped into the game and secured 12 points in only nine minutes played after netting four three pointers. This is Oswego’s 15th win of the season and ninth conference win to keep the Lakers in fourth place in the SUNYAC standings. The team looks ahead as they travel with Women’s Basketball to Cortland on Saturday for a 4 p.m. tip off.

Oswego Women’s Basketball falls to New Paltz Hawks

OSWEGO, NY — Women’s Basketball falls into an eight game losing streak after dropping a SUNYAC match up against New Paltz 68-42. The Lakers fell behind early in the first quarter before the team outscored the Hawks in the second quarter 11 to 10. This would not be enough though as the Lakers would get outscored 42 to 24 in the second half to receive their tenth conference loss of the season. Junior Raiven Encarnacion led the Lakers with 13 points as she netted four field goals and four free throws. Oswego now sits in last place in the SUNYAC standings with only a .167 win percentage as the team still has six more conference games remaining. The Lakers will travel to Cortland on Saturday for a 2 p.m. tip off before traveling back home for a game against Plattsburgh the following weekend.

Women’s Hockey ties with Potsdam

OSWEGO, NY — Women’s Hockey finished their three game week Saturday with a tie against Potsdam. The 3-3 final featured the Lakers getting on the board just 28 seconds into the game as junior Philomena Teggart tallied her six goal of the season. The Bears would add one by the end of the first period before Oswego netted two goals in the second period to take a 3-1 lead heading into the third. However, the Lakers would have to settle with a tie after Potsdam rallied back and put two past Rachael Farmer.

The Lakers are still settled in the second spot in the NEWHL standings after a loss to Morrisville and this tie to Potsdam. Oswego is back in action Wednesday night as Morrisville travels back into the Marano Campus Center. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m.

Women’s Hockey falls to Morrisville

OSWEGO, NY — Women’s Hockey battled Morrisville Friday evening in another tightly contested conference match up. The Mustangs came away with a 2-0 victory over the Lakers to obtain their tenth win of the season. This would be the third time this season that Oswego has been shutout and second time in conference. Morrisville got on the scoreboard in the first period and then the third period as they got goals past senior Rachael Farmer. The goalie had 28 saves on the night in the lost. The Lakers failed to capitalize on the power play as Morrisville did net one while on the man advantage. Oswego looks to reset as the team welcomes in Potsdam who is coming off a 3-2 win over Buffalo State on the road. The Bears, along with Morrisville and Oswego, are all tied for 2nd place in the NEWHL with 15 points as Cortland sits just one point back with a total of 14. Women’s Hockey falls to Hamilton

OSWEGO, NY — Women’s Hockey lost to the Hamilton Continentals Tuesday night after giving up the game winning goal within the last ten minutes of the third period. The Lakers got on the score board on a power play opportunity after senior Eryn Stewart tipped in a Megan Teachout shot in the first period. Hamilton would get back on the board in the second and then the third. The 2-1 final was the first loss in three games for Oswego as they head back to NEWHL play this Friday. The team is looking for their tenth win of the season, which would tie last year’s total with still eight games remaining. Morrisville will travel into the Marano Campus Center for a 7 p.m. puck drop.

Preview of Women’s Hockey week ahead

OSWEGO, NY — Women’s Hockey kicks off their four game home stand this week as the Lakers prepare for their first games of the second semester. Tuesday Night is the first of three games this week as Hamilton travels into the Campus Center. The team from the NESCAC conference is currently 9-6 and is slotted in 6th in their conference standings. The last time these two teams met, which was last season, in which the Continentals secured the victory in a 3-1 win. The Lakers have not defeated Hamilton since the 2015-16 season, which came on the road in Clinton, New York. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m. tomorrow night.

After this past weekend, Oswego remains in second in the NEWHL standings behind Plattsburgh. After tying Potsdam Saturday, the Lakers only sit two points above the Bears after both playing 12 games. If the standings remain the same, the Lakers will host the third seed in the semi-finals round of the NEWHL playoffs that occurs the last weekend of February.

The Lakers will go back to NEWHL play Friday night as Morrisville travels to Oswego for the first time this season. The last time the Mustangs and Lakers faced off resulted in Oswego coming away with a 4-3 victory. Philomena Teggart netted two goals in the victory along with freshman Kyleigh Grugin tallying one. Puck drop is also set for 7 p.m. from the Campus Center.

Saturday afternoon will feature the Lakers hosting their annual Pink the Rink game in which the team will wear pink jerseys. Potsdam will travel into Oswego for their last regular season match up against the Lakers. The recent transfer Tia Trovato who started her freshman season for the Lakers, will come back to Oswego for the first time since then. This game is set to begin at 3 p.m. in the Marano Campus Center.

WTOP 10 will broadcast all the games and will go live 15 minutes before each puck drop for an in depth analyst.
